INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF ROADS ACROSS THE STATE

In line with His Excellency Governor Umar Namadi, FCA 12 point Agenda among which is Urban Infrastructure and Rural Transformation. We wish to refer to our invitation for pre-qualification of interested reputable Civil Engineering Construction Companies dated 11th September, 2026 and announce the underlisted companies to bid for the proposed road Construction and Rehabilitation projects across the State:

C. New Construction Of Regional Roads

LOT 6- Construction of Medu – Danmadai- Kanyu – Dandidi – Madaka Road 22km

D. Asphaltic Concrete Overlay
LOT 7 – Rehabilitation of Limawa – Warwade – Sakwaya – Jigawar Tsada Road 35km

E. Roads Network in Government Institutions/Estates
LOT 8 – Maigatari EPZ 2.5km
LOT 9 – Completion of Jigawa State University of Medical Sciences Majia Roads 7.7km
LOT 10 – Sule Lamido University, K/Hausa 5km
LOT 11 – Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse 3km
LOT 12 – Danmodi Housing Estates Fanisau Roads Network 11.6km

F. Constructions of Bridges and Major Culverts
LOT 15 – Construction of Bridge at Malamawar Yandutse, Ringim LGA

SCOPE OF WORKS:
The Scope of works includes but not limited to the following:
Clearance, Filling, Construction of Culverts, provision of 150mm lateritic sub-base and base course on carriageway and shoulder, surface dressing/asphaltic concrete overlay, Drainages and associated Road furniture for the entire roads as per Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation as contained in the Bidding Documents.

1. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
These companies are to collect the tender and standard bidding documents (SBD) of the office of the Director Procurement Ministry of Works and Transport Dutse upon presentation of evidence of payment of non refundable fee of N1,000,000.00 per lot. The payments should be to Jigawa State Revenue Board.

2. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
The prospective bidders should submit for each of the lot desired 2 copies of financial bids package separately in a sealed envelop marked Financial Bid and thereafter placed the two (2) sealed envelops together in a bigger envelop sealed and Address to the Director Procurement Ministry of Works and Transport, Block BQ4, Dutse Jigawa State.
* The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any application at any time without incurring any liability.
* All expenses incurred as a result of preparation and submission of documents for this exercise shall be borne by the interested company (non-refundable fee). The financial bid should contain a bid security of not less than 2% of quoted bid, by way of a Bank guarantee or an Insurance bond issued by a reputable Bank or Insurance company acceptable to the procuring entity.

The bid validity period should be 120 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.

3. BID OPENING
The Bids will be open on Tuesday 3rd November 2026 at Conference hall of Ministry of Works and Transport, Block B, New State Secretariat Takur, Dutse by 12:00noon.
Bids submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned un-opened;
i. This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Jigawa State Ministry of Works nor shall it entail a company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and /or to seek any indemnity by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement;
ii. The Ministry reserves the right to annul the procurement process or reject a bidder at any time without incurring any liabilities;
